Love: This pet is the newest addition to your family and requires a long term commitment of love and proper care in order to live a long, healthy, happy life. Please care for it as you would a child. Do not let it run unattended inside or outside. Too many things could be the cause of illness, accident, or injury to you pet.
Food Requirements: Please provide your pet with full access to dry food and plenty of fresh, clean water at all times. Softened food should be offered 2 times a day for until it is 12 weeks old. Human food should be minimal and limited to rice, cereals, pasta, processed cheese, raw or cooked vegtables, chicken, lamb, or
fish. Absolutely no rawhide chews, grapes, raisens, onions, bones of any kind, beef or pork meats, and especially no chocolate. Pups that are charting to be undersized will need special care until they get 16 weeks old. Please ask for a printout on their care.
Housing Requirements: This pet is sold as an indoor pet and should not be housed outside and exposed to year round weather. Your pet needs a space of its own for security and quiet time in a temperature controled environment. It is not reccomended to let this pet sleep in bed with you until it is older and more in control
of its bodily functions. It can also be in danger of injury if it falls out of bed or gets caught up in the covers or under you.
Medical Requirements: This pet come up to date on all vaccines and dewormings required for its age. Pets need a series of 4 5-way parvo vaccinations scheduled 3 weeks apart and a recommended 6 month vaccination, a rabies vaccine at age 12 to 16 weeks, and regular monthly dose of heartguard. Be sure you are familiar with medical conditions that can affect your pet such as coccidia, giardia, and hypogycemia. You need to know what the symtoms are and how to prevent or treat them. Puppies immune sytems have to develop and they are most prone to these problems before the age of 16 weeks. If you are unfamiliar with these conditions, just ask me for a print out on them.
